In 2012, I contracted with the owner of an old time pharmacy in East Point Atlanta named Chapman Drugs. Then my team pulled off something pretty remarkable. Producer Pat Kenny scouted this location. And then I added Key Grip Ryan Mraz and fellow shooter, editor, and Producer Justin Webb to the team, and in one evening the 4 of us converted this location into a throwback ice cream and soda shop store for a season long on-air promotional campaign for Indians Baseball on Sportstime Ohio, The next day we hired talent and proceeded to shoot a treasure chest load of elements that would last through a whole season of Indians Baseball.  Pat Kenny and I produced on-air promo content out of this shoot for the entire MLB season. Many of the items shown here, like the old school TV and the glass encased baseball cards were not in the shoot but added in CGI here in my basement production studio. My client at that time was the best client ever. Then VP of Marketing Mike Roche entrusted me to run with this campaign. It won a Great Lakes region Emmy Award in 2 categories and was nominated in 3. One of my proudest moments, where the product and the performance of the team and a client who let out the reigns created excellence in every way. This video features a behind the scenes look at the set dressing. A before and after. And then a small montage of the finished product. Thanks for watching.
